Stawamus Chief (Howe Sound)

The Stawamus Chief is the second largest granite monolith in the world near Squamish BC.

Summits - First Peak 610m (7)
Second 655m (6)
Third Peak 702m (1)

Each summit features an expanse of fine glacier-polished granite and the promise of incredible views in all directions. Third Peak is a bit more remote and isolated and is less popular with tourists.

Stawamus Chief Provincial Park protects the 700 metre massive granite cliffs that stand at the southern entrance to Squamish on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway.
